Symphonic Pops are back with a holiday show

The Symphonic Pops Orchestra of Long Island (formerly Senior Pops), an intergenerational orchestra of approximately 60 musicians, will present a program of holiday music on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. at Brookside School, 1260 Meadowbrook Road in North Merrick.

The program, led by Music Director/Conductor Stephen Michael Smith, will feature music from “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Frozen” and many more holiday favorites. There will also be a special guest performance by students from the Oceanside Dance Center.

The concert is open to the public, but a suggested donation of $10 will be requested at the door ($5 from seniors, kids are free).  The facility is handicapped accessible, ant there is adequate free parking.  For more information, call 516-414-1831 or visit seniorpops.org.
