As part of its lifelong learning program, Temple Judea is proud to present Aaron Katersky, an award-winning ABC News correspondent who will discuss “Does Neutral Reporting Exist Anymore?” He will speak during the Shabbat service on Friday evening, March 27 on how reporting the news in today’s world actually works.

Katersky is a first-hand witness to some of the most significant global events of the last decade, including the Arab Spring, the war in Afghanistan and the beatification of Pope John Paul II.

Closer to home, Katersky covers Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange, terrorism, the federal courts in New York, and global affairs from the United Nations. Katersky is ABC News Radio’s special events anchor, leading live coverage of Your Voice Your Vote, the royal wedding in London, and the funeral of Whitney Houston.

There will be a Shabbat service which will also include Mr. Katersky’s presentation at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. A Q&A session moderated by Rabbi Todd Chizner will be held during the dinner and will give Mr. Katersky an opportunity to answer questions.

All are invited to attend this timely program. The cost for dinner is $18 per person. Reservations for the dinner are required. The event will be held on Friday, March 27 with Shabbat service at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7:15 p.m.
