Make Up! Hanging in the Balance

Children ages 6 and up will connect art and science as they explore Balance in Nature! Sculptures by Jerzy Jotka Kedziora’ throughout the gardens. They will discover gravity-defying adaptations and create a balancing craft to take home.

Family Cooking Class with Allergic to Salad

Allergic to Salad will host a hands-on cooking experience using farm-fresh ingredients. The class is designed for families and children of all ages. With guidance from Allergic to Salad educators, families will explore and prepare simple recipes using seasonal produce.

Cinema on the Bay at Sunset Park

Pinkalicious: The Musical

This is the musical tale based on the popular book by Victoria and Elizabeth Kann of Pinkalicious, who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes. After coming down with “pinkatitis,” Pinkalicous turns pink from head to toe. Meet the characters after the show.

Whimsical Wind Chimes

Wednesday, July 17, 3 to 4 p.m.

Children ages 5 and up can learn about the history of wind chimes and the concepts of balance and movement. They will experiment with patterns and make their own beaded wind chime to add to their home garden.
