Great Writers, Great Readings: Pamela Paul, Editor of The New York Times Book Review

Pamela Paul oversees books coverage at The New York Times. Her latest book, “My Life with Bob: Flawed Heroine Keeps Book of Books, Plot Ensues,” is the journal she has kept by her side for 28 years, keeping a record of every book she’s ever read — from “Sweet Valley High” to “Anna Karenina.” Admission to Great Writers, Great Readings events is free and open to the public.

3 “The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy”

Charles Addams’ creepy, kooky characters come to life in this twisted take on “Romeo and Juliet,” as that Princess of Darkness, Wednesday Addams, brings home her “normal” boyfriend to meet the entire tribe. The live production includes a terrific original score, tangos, swordfights, lightbulbs, graveyards, preciously dead flowers, and oui, the French — they’re all here.

4 35th Annual Oyster Festival

The Music of Cream: 50th Anniversary World Tour
