2 Unforgettable Fire & 42: Tributes to U2 and Coldplay

The beats of “Beautiful Day” and “Viva La Vida” will be heard at this concert that pays tribute to these two iconic rock bands from across the pond — U2 hailing from Ireland and Coldplay from the U.K. — performed by the bands Unforgettable Fire and 42.

The Outlaws

Formed in Tampa in 1972, The Outlaws became known for their triple-guitar rock attack and three-part country harmonies. At this show, they will perform many of their classic hits, from “There Goes Another Love Song’” to “Green Grass & High Tides,” along with new music.

David Rudolf & Jerry Buting: Inside the Staircase and the Making of a Murder

Attorneys David Rudolf and Jerry Buting from the Netflix docuseries, “The Staircase” and “Making a Murderer,” will join forces for a riveting night of behind-the-scenes insight into how police and prosecutors tipped the scales of justice in their efforts to convict Michael Peterson, Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey. The evening is a must for true crime fans.

5 The Garden in Winter with a Winter Stroll

Sundays in the Garden is a year-long speaker series with experts in the field of horticulture and design. 7 Musical: ‘Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story’

Thursday, Jan. 17 and Friday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. (ongoing performances through March 3)

“Buddy” tells the true story of Buddy Holly’s meteoric rise to fame from the moment in 1957 when “That’ll Be the Day” hit the airwaves until his tragic death less than two years later.  The show will have you on your feet and “send you out of the theater on an unstoppable high” (The Boston Globe).
