Music at the Mansion: The World Trad Orchestra

Friday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. 

The World Trad Orchestra brings together four inventive jazz musicians on the East Coast to play some of the world’s most inspiring songs that will transport the audience to Gatsby’s lawn, a nightclub in Rio, and a cobblestone street in Paris. Tickets: $25 for members; $40 for non-members.

2 The Bookshop Band

Friday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m.

Coming all the way from London, The Bookshop Band is currently touring bookstores all across the country.  They write and perform songs inspired by books and hundreds of authors from Shakespeare to Philip Pullman.  The $20 ticket price includes one complementary beverage from the café.

Theatre Production: ‘Art’

Caumsett Winter Walk

Saturday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m.

Get invigorated at this six-mile, moderate-hilly hike through the park, where you can admire the view of the Long Island sound.  Meet in the parking lot near the entrance and bring water and a snack. The hike will be canceled due to heavy rain or snow, but nor for cold weather.  Registration required.

5 Fine Wine & Food Festival

Saturday, Jan. 19, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Fine Wine & Food Festival showcases the area’s top wineries and food vendors. Guests will enjoy unlimited samples of wine, beer, spirits, and ciders, as well as gourmet food from New York City’s best restaurants and food trucks. 6 Chazz Palminteri’s ‘A Bronx Tale’

Actor, writer and producer Chazz Palminteri brings all of the grit, muscle and evocative realism to the sidewalks of New York in his play, “A Bronx Tale,” which began as an autobiographical one-man show, made it to the big-screen with Robert DeNiro, and recently had a successful run on Broadway.

7 Film Screening: ‘Love, Gilda’
