Appetite for Destruction: A Tribute to Guns N’ Roses

Art in the Park Fine Art & Craft Fair

Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

More than 75 artists and craftspeople will show and sell original works of art and handmade crafts such as paintings, photographs, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, woodwork, glasswork, wearable art and more. This free event will also feature art demonstrations and live music.  Proceeds will benefit the Art League of Long Island.

1968 & Beyond: A Lennon Tribute Concert with Imagine John

Steve Sgambati captures the essence of John Lennon in a tribute performance that will spotlight 1968, marking the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ White Album. The show highlights Lennon’s tracks from this iconic double album and other classic songs from the Beatles’ and solo Lennon catalogs.

4 28th Annual Harborfest Dock Day and Craft Festival

Split in their opinions on how to handle the situation, Alex and Greg find themselves navigating an emotional and ethical minefield with one patch of common ground between them: their fierce desire to do what’s right for Jake.

6 “Flying Jenny” Book Signing and Talk with Author Theasa Tuohy

Wednesday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. 

Author Theasa Tuohy will be signing her new novel about the early history of aviation and women in aviation on Long Island and across the nation. “Flying Jenny” is based loosely on her mother’s spirited life as a pioneering pilot in the early 1930s. Books will be available for purchase in the museum store. Although this is a free event, reservations are required.

Exhibition Opening Night & Preview Party — Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney: Sculpture

Thursday, June 7, 6 to 8 p.m.

Step back in time at Coe Hall and preview the new exhibition, Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney: Sculpture. The Brooklyn Sugar Stompers will perform Hot Jazz and Blues, inspired from the 1920s “Jazz Age” through the 1930s “Swing Era.” The exhibit will be on view June 9 through Sept. 30, daily 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
