Two R&B greats to play Westbury

The Island Now

Live Nation will present The Spinners and Little Anthony & The Imperials at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.

Sophisticated, up-tempo R&B with precision choreography defines a Spinners show. With over 60 million records sold in their illustrious career, the mighty Spinners have performed for Presidents, received six Grammy nominations and have appeared on television too many times to count.

This legendary group holds 18 Solid Gold Top 40 Hits. Their top 10 hits include “Then Came You,” “Working My Way Back To You/Forgive Me Girl,” “Cupid,” “The Rubberband Man,” “Could It Be I’m Falling In Love,” “I’ll Be Around” and many more.

The Spinners will be joined in concert by Little Anthony, whose powerful vocal range coupled with his many ageless songs transport the audience to a place where timeless music lives on forever.

Backed by the original Imperials, Anthony’s Top 40 Hits include “Tears On My Pillow,” “Shimmy, Shimmy Ko-Ko Bop,” “Goin’ Out Of My Head,” “I’m On The Outside (Looking In),” “Take Me Back” and “Hurt So Bad.”

Tickets to the concert can be purchased by visiting Ticketmaster.com, calling 800-745-3000 or by visiting the Westbury box office.
