There are two performances not to miss in the new year.
Great Neck House will host the Patricia Gordon Trio, who will perform jazz, classic R&B and standards, on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. This is a closed show for Great Neck Park District members and their guests only. Great Neck House is located at 14 Arrandale Ave. in Great Neck.
Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. is the date and time when the talented Patti Dunham and Gary Haberman will perform Dimples: The Music of Shirley Temple, containing songs such as “The Good Ship Lollipop” and “Animal Crackers in my Soup.”
The program, which takes a nostalgic look back by revisiting some of Temple’s music accompanied by video clips and stills, will take place at the Long Beach Public Library, 111 West Park Ave. in Long Beach. This show is open to the public.
