State Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso participated in the annual grass planting at the Mill Pond marshes near the miniature Yacht Club in Port Washington. Many children, parents and other local residents volunteered their time and came out to help wearing their sun protection and work clothes. This project was hosted by the Town of North Hempstead and Nassau County Soil and Water Conservation District.
