A popular Woodbury nail salon and spa will open its second location in Roslyn this spring.

Eastern Breeze Spa is moving into 1085 Northern Blvd. in early April, owner Frank Yao said, offering both a relaxing spa experience and a nail and waxing salon within the 5,000-square-foot space.

Yao said the two sides will be separated, keeping the spa side quiet and allowing for more space than the Woodbury location that has been open for seven years.

Yao, who got into the salon and spa business in 1999 on the South Shore, said the construction has been ongoing since last summer and the building is in the detailing and finishing process.

General manager Rachel Wang said the spa focuses on everything but hair.

“Basically, we do ears to toes,” Wang said. “We don’t do hair, but anything from the eyebrows down, we do.”

Wang said in her seven years with the company, customers have come from Queens and Manhattan as well as a customer from Maryland who drives up once a month for a day of pampering.

“We have a lot of clients from Roslyn who say they’ve never had a place like this that encompasses the spa side and the nails and waxing side,” Wang said. “To make this high end is very difficult, but our return customer rate is more than 80 percent and about half of our customers have been here for years.”

Yao said the spa’s three-tiered membership program, ranging from a five-month gold membership for $50 to a year-long noir membership for $500, provides discounts on services and allows for special upgrades.

At the Woodbury location, the private pedicure room with a seating area and two pedicure chairs is an additional fee, but Yao said the Roslyn location room would be complimentary to members.

“We wanted to create this place not only to offer the services but also to give people a place to be and enjoy, so it’s not just a spa,” Wang said. “It’s for people to enjoy themselves without feeling like I have ugly feet or bad skin.”

Spa packages are also available with a combination of services, such as the mini spa package, including a classic manicure and pedicure, an express facial or Swedish massage and a 10-minute back massage for $128, or the deluxe spa package, including an aromatherapy steam room session, white sugar honey body polish, a seaweed body wrap, an hour-long aromatherapy massage, and AlgoMask and facial as well as a spa pedicure and spa manicure.

Lunch is also provided during the deluxe package’s six-hour spa day.

“We’re not trying to have a quick stop here,” Wang said. “When our customers come, they are here for hours.”

Other services available include eyelash tinting, hot stone massages, men’s facials and services for couples.
