Eternal Con announces additional celebrity guests for 2021 show at Hofstra University

With less than one week until Eternal Con, Long Island’s original premier Pop Culture Comic Book and Cosplay convention that is making its return this summer for its eighth year, event organizers have announced an expanded roster of celebrity guests and content creators who are appearing at its two-day extravaganza on Sat., Aug. 7 from 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sun., Aug. 8 from 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. at its new location at Hofstra University’s David Mack Exhibition Complex in Hempstead.

Among new guests added are Amy Jo Johnson, best known for her roles as the original pink in the 1990’s TV “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” and “Felicity”; actor Ray Fisher, who portrayed “Cyborg” in Zach Snyder’s “Justice League” movie; Jackson Bostwick of TV’s original 1970’s “Shazam”; Tami Stronach, the “Childlike Empress” from “The Neverending Story”; “The Warriors” cast members David Harris and Terry Michos; WCW and WWE Hall of Fame Wrestler Madusa; as well as video game voice and motion-capture actors Kerri Ann Hoskins and John Turk from the “Mortal Kombat” series and Roger Clark from “Red Dead Redemption.”

Also appearing during the weekend will be comic creators and artists Bernard Chang (“X-Men Children of the Atom”), Nelson DeCastro (“Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point”), Crees Lee, Sean Chen (“Batman Beyond”, “X-Men”, “The Avengers”), Keith Williams (“Spiderman”, “The Phantom”) and John Cebollero (“Garbage Pail Kids”).

They will be joining previously announced guests Dean Cain, best known for his dual role as Clark Kent and Superman in the 1990s TV series, “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” and actor Reb Brown, star of the 1979 “Captain America TV Movie,” who will be at Eternal Con in conjunction with the 80th Anniversary celebration of Captain America.

Returning to Eternal Con this year will be popular events and attractions including the Cosplay Contest, Portfolio Reviews, the Eternal Con Car Show with iconic movie vehicles, “Kids Day” that will include “Youngling Training” where children will be invited to join the NY-Jedi instructors, a “Kids Costume Showcase” and a vendor room with over 200 tables of comic and superhero related toys, jewelry, clothing, costumes and collectibles.

Throughout the weekend attendees will have the opportunity to view Eternal Con’s popular Car Show featuring such iconic movie vehicles as the DeLorean time machine from “Back to the Future,” K.I.T.T. from “Knight Rider,” a Jeep from the original “Jurassic Park,” the V8 Police Interceptor from “Mad Max,” along with the 1966 TV Batmobile, among others.

Tickets for one-day entry are $25.00 on Saturday and $20.00 on Sunday. Children ages nine and under are free. Proceeds from this year’s Eternal Con will help raise money for several charities in the Long Island community.
