Post Commander Matt Cacciatore states that Veteran’s Day we honor the service of all Veterans. We remember the men and women that left their civilian lives to serve our nation, preserve our freedom and protect our way of life.

Our Veterans are part of us, part of our history. It is fitting and proper that we honor them for their courage, loyalty, service, and sacrifice. Our Village’s Veteran’s Day Ceremony honors all Veterans and exemplifies Floral Park’s commitment to “always remember” and to extend a heartfelt thank you and welcome home to all our Veterans.

The Post thanks Mayor Dominick A. Longobardi, the Board of Trustees, the Police, Fire, and Public Works Departments, for their support of the Veterans Day Ceremony.
