The Floral Park Memorial High School community was invited to witness band director John Smykowski getting his head shaved by Principal Jason Martin on Nov. 21.
Mr. Smykowski promised the marching band that if they broke a score of 80 at championships he would shave his head. For the first time in history, Floral Park Memorial scored an 80.7.
