Floral Park-Bellerose Union Free School District launched an updated user-friendly website with a fresh new look on Sept. 20. Featuring a different color scheme and larger images in a scrolling banner, the website will continue to provide online visitors with school news, important announcements, a calendar of events and other parent resources.
A translation button is also available, allowing visitors to translate the website content into a variety of languages using Google Translate. The district has also undergone a website content audit to ensure all information is current and relevant. Updates to content will continue to be reviewed and updated as appropriate.
“We are so excited about our new website,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathy Sottile said. “It’s important to us to have parents and community members be actively involved in the goings-on of our buildings, and this redesign makes it even easier for them to stay up-to-date and engaged.”
