Floral Park Memorial High School’s PEARLS leaders attended the Long Island’s Leaders of Tomorrow conference sponsored by Erase Racism on Nov. 10.

The conference was aimed at preparing high school students to become leaders and advocates in the fight for racial and socioeconomic equity. It was comprised of youth leadership development workshops, a short film and discussion, a theatrical performance and a treasure hunt. The PEARLS leaders engaged with students from other schools across Long Island. At the end of the day, each student walked away with a certificate of participation.
