Fourth Annual Shoes for the Homeless Drive Underway

The 4th Annual Shoes for the Homeless Drive is now underway.

Country Foot Care has been asking patients, neighbors, and local businesses to bring “gently” worn shoes to any “Shoes for the Homeless offices during normal business hours between Thanksgiving and New Years.

So far, more than 600 pairs of shoes have been collected. We gratefully acknowledge Apex Foot Health Industries for their generous shoe donation and Sir Speedy for donating our posters. We would also like to thank Williston Park Library, Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, Church of St. Aidan, Corpus Christi Parish, Little Tulip Montessori, Bay Terrace Garden Jewish Center, Town Halls and Chamber of Commerce of Mineola and Williston Park for their help promoting our drive and collecting the shoes.

The footwear Shoes for the Homeless collects stay in the local community to protect the feet of our neighbors for whom walking is their only available means of transportation.

For your convenience, any shoes you have available to donate can be dropped off at either of our two Country Foot Care locations: Mineola at 155 Mineola Blvd., or Williston Park at 479 Willis Ave. Additional drop off locations are listed below:

173 Mineola Blvd., Mineola
