I have requested that the library inform the community as to the usage of each of the branches at various times of the day, which branch seems to be the most popular and which falls by the wayside. They have not done this.
I did this request at the Town of North Hempstead pool facility and everyone discovered that there was almost no usage when the facility was limited to females.
An hourly usage, a number of people entering the facility for each hour is necessary. I suspect that Parkville gets the most usage and that Main may be at the bottom of the heap. I do not hang around long enough to keep a count but someone who is paid must do a detailed survey of usage.
Why invest if the only reason is to aggrandize the board.
