Great Neck school board commends North High students

Sixty-four North High School students were recently recognized by the Great Neck Public Schools Board of Education for contributing to the quality of life at their school.

The students are: Leah Ahdoot, Maor Amar, Vanessa Anderson, Nicole Aziz, Michael Babumba, Daniella Balakhane, Jason Beeferman, Hila Bessalely, Riley Boker, Samuel Calto, Ashley Chaman, Alan Chau, Daniel Chitsaz, Emily Cohen, Lior Cole, Rayna Cooke, Valerie Davoodzadeh, Charlize Dilmanian, Jonathan Erfanian, Nilesh Ganguli, Aaron Geula, Sophie Hadjibay, Laura Hakakian, Natascha Hakim, Noah Hakim, Giselle Hakimi, Lily Hakimian, Scott Hakimian, Yoel Hawa, Nicole Hirsch, Allison Hope, Daniel Itzkowitz, Chloe Kalimian, Shi-In Kim, Claire Kivelowitz, Daniele Lee, Shannon Liu, Limor Makhani, Molli Mamiye, Sari Mamiye, Sean McAward, Isabella Mirro, Indhira Morales, Carla Moraly, Magny Nabavian, Daniella Nakash, Cayla Noorani, Julia Otruba, Liraz Pirouzian, Molly Racsko, Eric Rosenbaum, Daniela Schwartz, Dinah Sedaghatpour, Nathaniel Sehati, Sage Sherry, Amanda Shirazi, Alexander Smooha, Xi Sun, Sarah Tang, Romeo Urbano, Nicole Victory, Joshua Wigler, Lucien Wostenholme, and Daniel Yue.

Joining them are Board of Education President Barbara Berkowitz, Vice President Donald Ashkenase, and Trustees Donna Peirez and Rebecca Sassouni; Superintendent of Schools Teresa Prendergast and Assistant Superintendent Stephen Lando; North High School Principal Daniel Holtzman and Assistant Principals Patricia Hugo, Daniel Krauz, and Ronald Levine.
