Great Neck school district retirees honored

The Great Neck Public Schools Board of Education and professional associations representing teachers, administrators, and civil service staff recognized 18 retirees for 2018–19 school year.

Patricia Daley-Jimenez will be retiring as the district’s director of food services.

Retiring teachers include: Debra Brown (Kennedy), Deirdre Elzer-Lento (South Middle), Kathleen Marks (North Middle), Lenore Primiano (Lakeville), Carol Siracusano (Baker), Dr. Doris Stanick (South Middle), and Linda Zarin (Lakeville).

Kathy Koslow, Confidential, and secretary to the Board of Education, is retiring from the superintendent’s office.

Office Staff retirees include: Nancy Arciere (South Middle), Debra Gonzalez (Baker), and Linda Peters (Parkville).

Paraprofessional retirees include: Colleen Chamblee (Cumberland), Elene Contegiacomo (Parkville), and Hara Georgopoulos (Baker).

Retirees from Buildings & Grounds are: Richard Lindner (South High) and Thomas O’Brien (North Middle). Nilda Maldonado retired from the Transportation Department.
