A 21-year-old man was killed in a vehicular crash on Cutter Mill Road in Great Neck, according to the Nassau County Police Department’s Homicide Squad.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released by the police, was reportedly driving a motorcycle southbound on Cutter Mill Road on July 5 at 11:46 a.m. before a collision with a 2004 Nissan Infiniti.  Officials said the car, driven by a 66-year-old man, was exiting the BP gas station at 133 Cutter Mill Road when the collision occurred.

The 66-year-old man remained at the scene, officials said, while the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a physician.

Officials said the investigation remains ongoing.  Efforts to reach a representative of the Police Department for further information were unavailing.
