A Great Neck man was arrested Friday for allegedly exposing himself to women on two separate occasions while asking for directions in Kings Point, according to police.

Detectives said George Husbands, 23, a Great Neck resident, first drove up to a 48-year-old woman on Kings Point Road at 10 a.m. May 31 and asked her for directions. Police said he allegedly exposed himself to the victim, who walked away and called the authorities.

Husbands then drove up to another woman, 35, at 10:30 a.m. on Kings Point Road the same day and asked for directions while allegedly exposing himself, detectives said. She also walked away and called the police.

Police said a subsequent investigation led them to Husbands, who was arrested June 6 at his home without any incident.

Husbands faces two counts of public lewdness, which are both misdemeanors. He was to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead last Friday, according to court documents. No defense attorney was listed.
