A Great Neck Plaza apartment complex was burglarized multiple times one day last week, Nassau County Police said last Thursday.

According to police, an unknown man entered the apartment building at 50 Hill Park Ave. and entered the superintendent’s office at around 1:40 a.m April 15. Police said it appears he then attempted to disarm the video system, before leaving the building around 1:46 a.m.

Edward Ward, the building’s superintendent, was not immediately available for further comment on Friday.

Police said the suspect entered the building again about eight hours later and is believed to have broken into four separate apartments on the second floor, stealing jewelry and cash.

A representative with Einsidler Management Inc., the complex’s managing agent, could also not be reached for comment.

Detectives ask that anyone with information about the incident or who might be able to identify the suspect call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
