Two men robbed a T-Mobile store in Great Neck on Friday afternoon, throwing an employee to the floor and taking cellphones, the Nassau County police said.

According to county detectives, two unidentified black males entered the store at 505 Great Neck Road and browsed phones on display.  Officials said the two men started to remove the phones from their displays when a 24-year-old female sales associate attempted to stop one of the men.

The employee was reportedly thrown to the floor and the two men fled the store in an X5 BMW and were last seen driving northbound on Nassau Road near the intersection of Northern Boulevard in Great Neck, officials said.

There were no injuries reported at the scene, according to a news release from the county Police Department. The robbers took an unspecified number of cellphones, police said.

The men were described as approximately 17 to 25 years old, 5-foot-10 with “thin builds,” according to the news release. The men were reportedly last seen wearing black sweatpants, black hooded sweatshirts and blue masks.

Efforts to reach a representative from the T-Mobile store or the county police for further information were unavailing.

Officials said anyone with information about the incident should contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or the Seventh Squad at 1-516-573-6753.
