Herricks Middle School’s Tri-M Jr. chapter welcomed 35 inductees on May 10 and 11 during ceremonies led by members of the executive board and their adviser, teacher Alicia Brown.
Mrs. Brown is especially proud of the students this year for rising above the challenges of the pandemic and finding creative ways to perform and celebrate music virtually.
Executive board members spoke about projects the students participated in this year, such as the “Why I Love Playing Music” video, holiday cheer video, NYSSMA performance Jamboard and many activities that honored Music In Our Schools month.
