Book Discussion: Get to Know Toni Morrison Friday, February 5 at 7 p.m. Explore the life and works of author Toni Morrison. Learn about her family and childhood, discuss her collection of books, and her lasting impact on the literary world and society.

Total Healing: the Meditation Prescription Tuesday, February 9 at 7 p.m. What can meditation do for you? In this presentation, Dr. Matthew Raider will present the latest medical and scientific data regarding meditation and the prevention and treatment of many disease states including high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer and chronic pain. He will talk about the enormous body of research on meditation as the antidote to stress.

Fresh Fiction Book Club Wednesday, February 10 at 7 p.m. The book being discussed is: The End of the Day by Bill Clegg. Seemingly disconnected lives come together as half-century-old secrets begin to surface. It is in this moment that Bill Clegg reminds us how choices—to connect, to betray, to protect—become our legacy.

Legal Seminar : Elder Law Thursday, February 11 at 7 p.m. Presented by Beth Polner Abrahams, Esq. Planning Without Fear, Part 2: Elder Law and Medicaid—What You Must Know. Learn the basics for issues in elder care law including recent changes to Medicaid home care assistance, which assets Medicaid counts and which ones do not count, and Medicare.

Zumba Friday, February 5 at 5:30 p.m. All Ages Kids (Kids/Tweens/Teens). Dance your cares away with this fun dance-based exercise class! A zumba class for kids of all ages.

Stemtastic: Chocolate Surprise! Monday, February 8 at 4:30 p.m. Grades: 1-4 (parental help with younger grades) Calling all Chocolate Lovers! Ever wonder how candy makers get the fillings inside the chocolate? Join us as we explore all things chocolate. We’ll demonstrate the chocolicious properties of chocolate that allow it to be molded & shaped any way you wish. Then we’ll make chocolate puddling slime and a conversation heart catapult. Cooking Adventures with Chef Julie Thursday, February 11 at 5:30 p.m. All Ages – Family Fun! Chef Julie is back with another sweet treat! Project will be announced in the next few days. Be sure to check back! A list of ingredients will be emailed to all who register so you can watch and create along with Chef Julie.
