Stress Management Techniques
Monday, June 14 at 2 p.m. Learn Ways to Manage and Relieve Stress with NY Project Hope! NY Project Hope is a statewide crisis counseling initiative available to every New York resident. The Crisis Counseling Program provides support, outreach, and education to assist individuals and communities coping with COVID-19. It is a strengths-based program offering support that promotes resilience, empowerment, and recovery… always free, confidential, and anonymous.

Meditate on the Inner Light Tuesday, June 15 at 7 p.m. Gerry Gorman, long time meditator will be discussing why meditation is necessary for physical and spiritual health & well-being. There will be a short meditation sitting. A student of meditation for over 40 years, Gerry studied with two of the most respected mystics of our time. He describes a very practical form of meditation and explores how this practice can help each of us develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. Gerry has been married for over 40 years and has two grown children.

Ebooks and Audiobooks: Getting Started with Libby! Wednesday, June 16 at 10 a.m. A 30 minute session will get you up to speed on everything you need to know to use Libby – the one tap reading app, including: Finding your library and signing in; Navigating the app; Browsing and searching for titles; Borrowing titles and placing holds; Managing notifications … And much more! Recordings are automatically shared with anyone who registers for the event.

Book Discussion: Mystery Book Club Wednesday, June 16 at 7 p.m. The book being discussed is: Elementary, She Read by Vicki Delany. Fans of Sherlock Holmes will delight in the sleuthing duo of Gemma and Jayne in this clever and captivating series debut by the nationally bestselling author of the Year Round Christmas mysteries.

Learn to Dance the Bollywood and Bhangra Way! Friday, June 18 at 7 p.m. Get up and move with the dancers of Ajna Dance Company! Join us on June 18th for a 45 minute class as we dance through the styles of Bollywood and Bhangra, break a sweat, and have some fun.

Time for Kids: Fun on the Farm! Friday, June 11 at 1:30 p.m. Ages: Birth-5 years (with parent/caregiver). Come join A Time for Kids, Inc. down on the farm in this family fun preschool program. Activities include music, movement, fine & gross motor development and storytelling. There will even be a pig puppet craft! Suggested materials: Paper lunch bag; 1 piece of pink construction paper; Scissors; Glue; Black crayon or marker.

Outdoor Adventures! Pajama Story Time Friday, June 11 at 7 p.m. All Ages! Join Mrs. S., Ms. Karen, & Mr. B. for stories, music and movement!

Virtual Paint Night Friday, June 11 at 7 p.m. Grades 5 – 12. Join our artist Alma for a step-by-step paint night. No experience necessary. Beginners welcome! What you will need for your painting: a small canvas (if you unable to obtain, paper will work too); paint (acylic is preferred, but our instructor can work w/ water colors as well. if you are unable to obtain paint, you can even use markers); pencil & eraser; paint brushes and a cup of water to clean brushes.

Stemtastic- Float on the Boat! Monday, June 14 at 5 p.m. Grades: K-4 (parental help with younger grades). We’ll build our own paddle boats & learn how paddles can store potential energy. Next we’ll build a balloon powered boat and watch as it streams through the water. **Material Kits will be available for Curbside Pick-up prior to the program. Dates will be posted when kits are available.

Cooking & Baking with Chef Rob! Wednesday, June 16 at 7 p.m. Join Chef Rob’s Spring Food Festival- “Summer Food Festival” live on Facebook! Family fun for all ages! Click the links below for recipes. If you will be baking/cooking along, please have your ingredients, bowls, and measuring spoons ready.

Chillin at the Beach…Kahoot Trivia Game Night! Thursday, June 17 at 7 p.m. All Ages- Family Fun! Join Mr. B. & Miss Jessi with some beach trivia. Splishing & Splashing with lots of cool fun! **All participants will be entered in a Raffle to receivce a prize.

Baking with Chef Rob! Friday, June 18 at 7 p.m. All Ages- Family Fun! Learn how to bake Cheesecake Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies!
