Fall Prevention Workshop Monday, July 19 at 1 p.m. Part 2: Covers Vision, Hearing Loss, Feet & Footwear, Community Safety, Osteoporosis, Weather, Infections, and How to get up safely from a fall (July 19, 2021).*This program is brought to you courtesy of Nassau Libraries Health Share. We will be using the Zoom meeting platform. The Zoom login information will be emailed to you the day before the program.

Gentle Yoga and Tibetan Bowls Tuesday, July 20 at 10 a.m. Linked with breath, gentle yoga uses slow movement to relieve stress, increase flexibility, calm the mind and strengthen the body. Tibetan singing bowls are used for healing with sound and vibration. Join us as we link these integrative therapies to promote relaxation and stimulate your body’s natural healing. **This program is brought to you courtesy of Nassau Libraries Health Share.**

Summer Bingo Wednesday, July 21 at 11 a.m. Join us in the parking lot for a fun game of bingo! This program will take place outside.(weather permitting). Please note this program is intended for adults only.

Book Discussion: Mystery Book Club Wednesday, July 21 at 7 p.m. The book being discussed is: Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke. A rural noir suffused with the unique music, color, and nuance of East Texas.

Meditation for Stress Reduction Thursday, July 22 at 7 p.m. John Bednarik will demonstrate the most practical methods of controlling and calming the mind for better meditations and many other health benefits. As a result, stress is reduced, and that permanent place of peace and joy is found within.

Time for Kids: Rumble In The Jungle! Friday, July 16 at 10 a.m. Ages: Birth- 5 years (with parent/caregiver). Come join A Time for Kids, as we get wild and explore the jungle in this family fun preschool program! Activities include music, movement, fine & gross motor development and storytelling. There will be a paper chain snake craft demonstration. Suggested materials: 2 pieces of construction paper; Scissors; Stapler and Crayon or marker.

Welcome to the Jungle! Pajama Story Time Tuesday, July 20 at 7 p.m. All Ages! Join Mrs. S., Ms. Karen, Mr. B. for stories, music and movement!

Cooking with Chef Rob Friday, July 23 at 4:30 p.m. All Ages- Family Fun! Learn how to cook the ultimate grilled chicken tenders with three dipping sauces & a gooey s’more!
