Connecting Body, Mind, and Spirit Through Meditation Friday, September 24 at 2 p.m. Medical research has uncovered amazing facts about meditation and the body-mind-spirit connection. Join Gerry Gorman to learn how meditation can be used to minimize the effects of stress and maximize speed healing. Ovarian Cancer Awareness: What Everyone Should Know Wednesday, September 29 at 7 p.m. Northwell Health Associate Director and Board certified in Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Jill Whyte has over 13 years of clinical experience caring for women with gynecologic malignancies. She has extensive experience in robotic and laparoscopic surgery and has served as a co-chair of the Northwell Health System Robotics Committee. She also has a strong interest and expertise in fertility-preserving management of gynecologic cancers and risk reducing surgery for women at genetic risk for gynecologic cancer. Play Hooray (Outside- Parking Lot) Friday, September 24 at 10:30 a.m. Ages: 18 months & Up (w/ parent or caretaker). Stories, music and movement activities with Mollie the Mouse.

Virtual Paint Night Friday, September 24 at 7 p.m. Grades 5 – 12. Join our artist Alma as she guides you through a virtual painting. No experience necessary. Beginners welcome! What you will need for class: a small canvas or paper; pencil w/ eraser; acrylic paint (if unavailable watercolors or even markers will work)-paintbrushes and a cup of water to clean brushes.
