Hofstra is celebrating the 20th year of its annual Irish Festival on Sunday, March 11, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Mack Physical Education Center on the University’s North Campus.

The festival celebrates the gifts of Irish music, food, and culture to America. There will be music performances and activities for children throughout the day, as well food, beverages, and crafts for sale.

JigJam, a multi-award-winning quartet from the heart of the Midlands in Ireland, will make their Hofstra debut, performing traditional Irish music mixed with Bluegrass and Americana in a new genre that has been called ‘I-Grass’ or “CeltGrass.” Their Hofstra appearance is their only one on Long Island this year.
