New Hyde Park Memorial High School’s Future Business Leaders of America students kicked off the holiday season with its annual trip to New York City, on Dec. 13.

This year’s FBLA members started the day by visiting the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Then, they visited NBC Studios where they enjoyed behind-the-scenes access. The students saw the studios of “Saturday Night Live” and “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Additionally, they participated in their own “On Air at NBC Studios” show.

The trip concluded with a sit-down lunch at Applebee’s in Times Square.

The New Hyde Park FBLA also hosted its Holiday Pizza Party the following week, on Dec. 16. Over 100 members attended the festive event, which included pizza and holiday cakes. The FBLA board members were in attendance to help make this annual event possible.
