Keller Williams Realty Gold Coast campaigns for Island Harvest Food Bank

The Island Now

As part of RED Day, Keller Williams’ annual day of service dedicated to Renewing, Energizing and Donating to local communities, Keller Williams Realty Gold Coast associates choose to “Give Where They Live.”

Each year on the second Thursday of May, RED Day is celebrated as part of the KW Legacy Worth Leaving. Making a difference in the lives of others and bettering the communities they serve, lies at the heart of the Keller Williams culture.

Given the current global situation, the needs of our communities are greater than ever. To keep with helping to slow the spread of Covid-19 by social distancing, this year, May 14 will be the first-ever DIGITAL RED DAY.

As part of the RED Day effort, Keller Williams Realty Gold Coast associates will be fundraising for Island Harvest Food Bank, providing supplemental food support to our neighbors impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

“We are grateful for the caring and generosity of Keller Williams Gold Coast and their associates in supporting our efforts to make sure that no one on Long Island goes hungry,” said Randi Shubin Dresner, president and CEO, Island Harvest Food Bank. “It’s heartwarming to know we have people who truly care about their neighbors who are struggling to put food on their tables during this unprecedented public health emergency.”

“RED Day is built on the belief that people can – and should – come together to achieve extraordinary things to help others,” said Andrea Levine, Operating Principal, Keller Williams Realty Gold Coast. It just happens to be a one-day expression of the constant state of the Keller Williams culture. “We see a need, discover who can meet it, and get it done,” said Connor Nolan, CEO, Keller Williams Realty Gold Coast.
