Knife wielding man wanted for robbery in Albertson Dunkin run

Police are investigating a knifepoint robbery that occurred last Wednesday at a Dunkin Donuts in Albertson.

According to police, a man entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 1051 Willis Ave. at around 9:21 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 and displayed a knife. He demanded cash from the store employees before fleeing down Netherwood Drive with the cash in a white plastic bag.

The suspect was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a gray or blue hoodie, gloves and a black scarf concealing his face, according to police.

No further updates were available as of Monday.
