Highlights from the day included special writing activities, treats for students, a bingo night for families, and a proclamation presented by Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Councilwoman Anna Kaplan. Elected officials and district administrators joined Lakeville students and staff for an aerial photo to commemorate the school’s 90th birthday.

“I would like to share a huge ‘Thank You’ to our PTA co-presidents, Hallie Mohel-Cardinale and Dora Wu, and the entire Lakeville PTA for helping with this special day,” said Lakeville Principal Emily Zucal.

Every student, faculty member, and guest received a special blue t-shirt to wear for the celebration. The image on the shirt was designed by fifth grader Lauren Tan, who won a t-shirt design contest sponsored by the school.
