VILLAGE OF KINGS POINT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting will be held by the Board of Appeals of the Village of Kings Point at the Village Hall, 32 Steppingstone Lane, Kings Point, New York 11024, on 28th April 2020 at 7:00 p.m. The Board will immediately adjourn for advice of counsel and, at 7:30 p.m., the Board will commence public hearings for the consideration of the following applications and such other matters as may come before the Board:

CASE NO. PRBZA20200082 Application of Chin Tang & Carol Huang, as owners, with regard to the premises at One Stream Court, Kings Point, New York, for variances from the following sections of the Code of the Village of Kings Point for a proposed second story addition over existing garage; second story addition attached to garage; extend entry porch, and add solar panels on the roof of the existing dwelling:

1. §161-10(A): to permit a proposed front yard setback of 58.0 feet (eastern addition) and 56.25 feet (western addition), instead of the required 60.0 feet.

2. §161-23(A)(1)(c): to permit a proposed front yard setback for a permitted projection of 51.34 feet instead of the required 55.0 feet.

3. §161-30.4(B)(1)(a): to permit a proposed front yard sky exposure plane of 24.33 feet, instead of the maximum permitted 22.5 feet.

The premises are shown on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map as Section 1, Block 202, Lot 33, and located in a A2 zoning district of the Village of Kings Point.

CASE NO. PRBZA20200083 ​​ Application of David Ohebshalom & Sharon Ohebshalom, as owners, with regard to the premises at 19 Harbour Road, Kings Point, New York, for variances from the following sections of the Code of the Village of Kings Point:

1. §161-40(A): to permit a proposed 4-foot high lattice fence along the north side of a proposed tennis court instead of the required minimum 8-foot high chain link fence.

2. §161-41: to permit a proposed screening by 4-foot high coniferous trees along the north side of a proposed tennis court instead of the required minimum height of 6 feet.

The premises are shown on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map as Section 1,

Block 177, Lot 64, and located in a A2 zoning district of the Village of Kings Point.

The application and accompanying exhibits are on file in the office of the Village Clerk and may be inspected during normal business hours.

At said hearing, all parties in interest will be given an opportunity to be heard.
