PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Great Neck shall hold a public hearing on Thursday, APRIL 12, 2018 at 7:30PM, at Village Hall, 61 Baker Hill Road, Great Neck, NY 11023, to hear the application of Joel Abrahams, owner, represented by Edward Dickman, architect, for the premises at 66 FOREST ROW in Great Neck. The applicant is seeking the following variance(s) from the Village Zoning Code in connection with the application for interior alterations and an addition to a single family residence:
1. ß575-85: The minimum side yard required is 12.12 feet. The proposed (existing nonconforming) side yard is 5.6 feet. The proposed addition extends the nonconformity. A variance of 6.52 feet is required.
2. ß575-86: The minimum rear yard required is 25 feet. The proposed (existing nonconforming) rear yard is 13.46 feet. The proposed addition extends the nonconformity. A variance of 11.54 feet is required.
The premises are also known as Section 1, Block 106.2, Lot 112 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map, and are located in the Residence C Zoning District. A copy of the application materials is available for review in the Village of Great Neck Building Department, Village Hall, during regular business hours.
