LEGAL NOTICE AND
NOTICE OF PUBLIC
ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAWS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees (Board) of the Incorporated Village of East Williston (Village) will hold a public hearing on Monday July 13, 2020 at the Village Hall located at 2 Prospect Street, East Williston New York at 8:00 p.m. to consider a Local Law amending the Village Code, sections: 160-32(D) pertaining to driveways; 160-4(B) pertaining to Floor Area Ratio and pertaining to the definitions of “structure” ‘lot coverage’ and ‘drainage ‘; 160-10(E) pertaining to the definition of ‘front yard’; 160-33 pertaining to lot coverage, lot area, lot width and yards; 160-61 to remove sky exposure plane requirements; 160-38 pertaining to swimming pools and hot tubs, required enclosures and lot coverage related to pools; and
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Board will also consider amendments to the Code related to fees and costs relative to the issuance of building permits, plumbing permits, generator permits, and swimming pool permits.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Board will also consider adding Chapter 161 pertaining to the registration of leased residential properties within the Village.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that this will be an ‘in person’ meeting, that any who wish to attend must wear a mask in accord with requirements of the State of New York, and that all who attend are reminded of the need to abide by social distancing requirements.
