NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Williston Park will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, December 1O, 2018, at 8:00 pm or as soon as possible thereafter, at the Village Hall, 494 Willis Avenue, Williston Park, NY for the purpose of considering the adoption of proposed Williston Park Local Law No. 3 of 2018 to amend Section 225-20 (B) of the Village Code to set the following rates, to be billed on a quarterly basis: Williston Park residential usage, the rate of $5.14 per thousand gallons for water supplied up to and including 10,000 gallons; the rate of $5.14 per thousand gallons for water supplied over 10,000 gallons up to and including 50,000 gallons; the rate of $5.36 per thousand gallons for water supplied over 50,000 gallons. For Williston Park commercial usage, at the rate of $5.67 per thousand gallons for water supplied up to and including 10,000 gallons; at the rate of $5.67 per thousand gallons for water supplied over 10,000 gallons up to and including 99,000 gallons; and $5.67 per thousand gallons for water supplied over 99,000 gallons. For the Village of East Williston, at the rate of$5.67 per thousand gallons for water supplied. Rates will be effective January I, 2019. A report prepared by the Village’s water rate consultant explaining the water rate update for bond service for the new elevated water storage tank is available for inspection under FOIL from the Village Clerk during regular office hours.
