LEGAL NOTICE OF VARIANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to law, that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Port Washington North, located at 3 Pleasant Avenue, Port Washington, New York 11050, on January 24, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of considering the following application:
The application of Jeffrey Gentry, as applicant and as owner of the premises located at 26 Fishermans Drive, Port Washington, New York. The zone is Residence B. The location of the premises on the Nassau County Tax Map is Section 4 Block 126 Lot 15. Applicant and owner seek a variance for a deck. Pursuant to Section 176-21 of the Port Washington North Village Code, the minimum rear yard setback for a structure (deck) permitted is 25 feet. The proposed rear setback for the deck is 21.86 feet. The applicant/owner is seeking a variance on the requirement of the setback in the rear yard for the deck of 3.14 feet.
At said public hearing all parties in interest will be given an opportunity to be heard Copies of the proposed plans are on file with the Village Hall and may be seen during normal business hours. Anyone needing special accommodation pursuant to the American with Disabilities Act should contact the Clerk to the Board of Zoning Appeals at least four (4) business days before the meeting.
