Notice of Hearing Town of North Hempstead Historic Landmarks Preservation Commission
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of North Hempstead Historic Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 7:00 PM via Zoom.† At that time the Commission will consider applications for Certificate of Appropriateness for the following cases: 55 Murray Avenue, Port Washington Historic District – Section 5, Block 54, Lot 14: Application for the issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness to replace the existing casement dining room bay window with new double hung windows, install a new kitchen sliding French door and double hung windows, and replace existing rear yard deck with new deck and stairs to grade. 38 Reid Avenue, Port Washington Historic District- Section 5, Block 61, Lot 274: Application for the issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness to reclad the entire house, add a new front portico with expanded front steps, add a second floor balcony for master bedroom over the existing roof in rear of house, reclad existing chimney with stone, and add a six (6)-inch bump-out of garage and roof extension with new garage doors and lighting.
