NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Town of North Hempstead—Board of Zoning Appeals
Pursuant to the provisions of the Code of the Town of North Hempstead, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Zoning Appeals of said Town will meet at Town Hall, 220 Plandome Road, Manhasset, New York, on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, to consider any matters that may properly be heard by said Board, and will hold a public hearing on said date to consider applications and appeals.
The following cases will be called at said public hearing starting at 10:00 a.m.
APPEAL #20680—Tom Steele, variances 70-100.1(A), 70-100.2(D), and 70-103.C to construct a fireplace exceeding the permitted height, a pergola and a barbecue within a required side yard setback, retaining walls/stairs within a required front yard setback, and a driveway with insufficient surfacing; N/side 102 Huntington Rd., 302.50’ S/of Reid Ave., Port Washington, Sec. 5, Blk. 60, Lot 325, R-A District, Port Washington Historic District.
APPEAL #20681 Anthony Ciminera, variance 70-100.1(B) to maintain an addition to a detached garage with an insufficient side yard setback; N/side #67 Fairview Ave., 220’ W/of Birch St., Port Washington, Sec. 6, Blk. 14, Lot 47, R-C District.
APPEAL #20688—Eko Polizzi, special exception 70-231 and variances 70-208.F, 70-40.A, and 70-101.B to construct attic additions with fixed stairs within the required front yard setback, exceeding the allowable horizontal access to attic, and second story additions and a porch within the required front yard setback to a non-conforming dwelling; N/side 5 Colonial Rd., 174’ E/of Port Washington Blvd., Port Washington, Sec. 6, Blk. 59, Lot 42, R-B District.
