NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Town of North Hempstead – Board of Zoning Appeals Pursuant to the provisions of the Code of the Town of North Hempstead, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Zoning Appeals of said Town will conduct a Zoom meeting, on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 to consider any matters that may properly be heard by said Board, and will hold a public hearing on said date to consider applications and appeals. Until further notice, all future Board of Zoning Appeals hearings and meetings will be held via videoconferencing, as permitted by the NYS Open Meetings Law. Due to public health and safety concerns, the public will not be permitted to attend at the remote locations where the Board members will be situated. The public, however, will be able to fully observe the videoconferencing hearing and comment at appropriate times. To the extent internet access is not available; the public can attend and participate via telephone by dialing the number listed in the Zoom information provided below. The Board of Zoning Appeals calendar is available online in advance of the meetings at and the public can email written comments or questions addressed to the Board at Questions and/or comments will be accepted and made a part of the record, prior†to the meeting, during the meeting and up until 4:30 PM on Friday, JANUARY 29, 2021.
