NOTICE OF THE GREAT NECK UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT’S VOLUNTARY RECOGNITION OF EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATION The Great Neck Union Free School District, pursuant to the requirements of 4 NYCRR ß201.6, hereby provides notice that effective June 1, 2021, it will act to voluntarily recognize Great Neck Teachers Association and the New York State United Teachers, AFT, NEA, AFL-CIO as the exclusive representative for certain titles/positions, as follows: Included: All supervisory employees of the Great Neck Union Free School District in the buildings & grounds supervisor unit on a regularly scheduled basis in the following job titles, excluding temporary, part-time, substitute, or seasonal workers, including District Head Custodian, Head Custodian I, II and III, Maintenance Supervisor I, Maintenance Supervisor II, Assistant Supervisor of Transportation, Bus Dispatcher, Assistant Bus Dispatcher, Supervising Groundskeeper, Assistant Supervisor of Security, Assistant Supervising Groundskeeper, Assistant Head Custodian I, Information Technology Specialist I, Information Technology Specialist II, Information Technology Specialist III, Information Technology Assistant Manager, Supervising Security Aide; and the following exempt employees: Supervisor of School Facilities and Operations, Supervisor of Security, and Supervisor of Transportation. Excluded: All other employees of the Great Neck Union Free School District.
