LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Roslyn Estates on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 25 The Tulips, Roslyn Estates, New York 11576, to hear:
Case #608, the Application of Amy and Cliff Goldman, owners of premises at 5 The Dogwoods, Roslyn Estates, NY 11576, also known as Section 7, Block 20, Lot 607, on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map, located in R-30 zoning district, for variances from Sections 200-11(B.), 200-14(E.), 200-22(F.), 200-26 and 200-27(B.) of the Village Code, to permit expansion of single family home, modification of driveway and legalization of patio and swimming pool equipment, where: proposed driveway modification would result in width of 15’ for front/main driveway, and 18’ width for driveway to garage, where maximum permitted driveway width is 12’; existing on-grade patio has 0’ setback from rear property line, where minimum required setback is 12’; existing pool equipment has 6.5’ setback from rear property line, where minimum required setback is 15’; proposed new one story addition would have 15.6’ westerly side yard setback, where minimum required setback is 20’; and, with proposed addition, total floor area would be 4,821.2 square feet, where the maximum permitted floor area on a lot of 27,985.77 square feet is 4,554.17 square feet.
At time and place of public hearing, all persons will be given opportunity to be heard. Individuals wishing to review file may do so during Village business hours. Those persons planning to attend meeting and who require special accommodations because of disability are requested to notify Village Clerk no less than 48 hours prior to meeting.
