NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Kings Point invites bids on a Contract for the Removal and Disposition of Garbage and Refuse (including recyclables) from the Village for a one-year, two-year, or three-year period, commencing June 1, 2019, as may be determined, each year, by the Board of Trustees.
All bids must be in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Village Clerk of the Village of Kings Point and marked on the outside, “BID FOR COLLECTION OF GARBAGE”, and delivered to the Village of Kings Point Village Hall, 32 Steppingstone Lane, Kings Point, New York 11024, on or before MARCH 1, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read.
Commencing January 22, 2019, a bid packed including, among other documents, this Notice to Bidders, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, and Form of Contract, may be obtained at the Village of Kings Point Village Hall between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids to the extent permitted by law. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an adequate surety bond for the full and faithful performance of the contract awarded to it.
