NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Floral Park, NY will hold a Public Hearing at Village Hall, One Floral Boulevard, Floral Park, NY on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 8:00 pm in relation to the following application:The application made by Myrtelle Joseph, 362 Maryland Ave, Freeport, NY 11520 is made pursuant to Section § 99-11 (B) (3) for a special use permit for a proposed change in use for property 166 – 170 Jericho Turnpike, Floral Park, NY 11001. The existing building is located within the B-2 Business Zoning District. The applicant proposes changing the existing use from a bank/office to a catering hall which is a Special Use as defined by Section § 99-11 (B) (3), Places of Assembly, of the Floral Park General Ordinance and may only be approved by the Board of Trustees after a public hearing.The structure for which said Special Permit is applied is situated on the southeast corner of Jericho Turnpike and South Tyson Avenue and known as 166 – 170 Jericho Turnpike, Section 32 Block 60, Lots 263-266 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map. A copy of the application is on file in the Office of the Village Clerk, One Floral Boulevard, Floral Park, NY 11001 and may be examined by any persons interested therein during business hours Monday through Friday inclusive, except legal holidays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.NOW TAKE NOTICE that all parties in interest and citizens will be given the opportunity to be heard at the aforesaid time and place.
