PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of East Williston will hold a public hearing in the Village Hall, 2 Prospect Street in said Village on January 17, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. to hear the application of Gandolfo Cascio, 201 Glenmore St., East Williston, New York to request variances from:
Variance #1 Article IX Supplementary Use and Dimensional Regulations Section 160-32 Placement of Accessory uses and buildings
Sub-section D (1) (a) ‘…On a property with a detached garage, the section of the driveway running from the street line must be no more than 10 feet in width
Requested varying widths 15.33 feet to 20 feet
Variance #2 Article IX Supplementary Use and Dimensional Regulations Section 160-32 Placement of Accessory uses and buildings
Sub-section D (1) (a) ‘…On a property with a detached garage, The section of the driveway running from the garage may be permitted to be 20 feet in width, provided that said section shall be no more than 20 feet in length

A. With respect to lot coverage.
(1) ‘…the total area of accessory buildings and structures shall not cover more than 40% of such required rear yard.
Allowed: 1,198sq ft
Requested: 1,423sq ft
or 47.7%;
(2) The calculation of this percentage of rear yard coverage shall include those yard areas covered by temporary structures and open storage of more than an incidental transitory character.
