Pursuant to the provisions of the Code of the Town of North Hempstead, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Zoning Appeals of said Town will conduct a Zoom meeting, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 10:00am as permitted by a recent change in the NYS Open Meetings Law, and based on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, †to consider any matters that may properly be heard by said Board, and will hold a public hearing on said date to consider applications and appeals.†The following cases will be called at said public hearing. APPEAL #21145 ñ Lisa & Blake Aber; 12 Pine Dr., Port Washington, Section 5, Block C, Lot 155; Zoned Residence-A†Variances from §§ 70-100.2.A(2) & 70-100.2.A(4)(a)[5] to legalize fencing which is located within the front yard (not permitted) and to legalize fencing which is too tall. APPEAL #21146 – Andrew Simons; 38 Beachway, Port Washington; Section 5, Block C, Lot 414; Zoned: Residence-A†Variances from §§70-30.C, 70-30.B and 70-32.6 to construct additions located too close to the street, to install 2 A/C units located too close to the street, and to install front yard paving that covers more than 40% of the front yard.
