PUBLIC NOTICE: 2022 Tentative Assessment Roll† NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of the Village of Lake Success has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll of Real Property for the year 2022. A copy of said assessment roll will be electronically available on February 1, 2022 where it can be viewed at the Village of Lake Success website, available at†https://www.villageoflakesuccess.com/taxes.php†. In compliance with Governor Kathy Hochulís extension of the COVID 19 New York State disaster emergency.†Property owners should submit and file their grievance application and supporting documentation via email, by emailing†vlsadmin@optonline.net, no later than February 15, 2022.† Alternatively, property owners who do not have the technological capacity to email may submit a hard copy of their application and supporting documentation, which must be Postmarked by February 15, 2022, to: Assessment Department, Village of Lake Success, 318 Lakeville Road, NY 11020. All complaints must be submitted or postmarked no later than February 15, 2022.††In further compliance with Governor Kathy Hochulsís extension, the Board of Assessment Review will meet virtually using ZOOM and will provide a conference call in number to those who are without internet access, to hear all filed complaints in relation to their assessment. The Board of Assessment Review (BoAR) requires ample time to gather all documents as filed and therefore is anticipated to adjourn Grievance Day, (February 15, 2022) to February 22, 2022. Complaints will be heard on February 22, 2022 by appointment only from 4 pm-8 pm.
