Great Neck Water Pollution Control District
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Great Neck Water Pollution Control District will hold a public hearing at the office of the District, 236 East Shore Road, Great Neck, New York on October 31, 2019, at 7:00 P.M., to consider and act upon a proposed Petition by the said Board of Commissioners to the Town Board of the Town of North Hempstead for the acceptance and approval by the said Town Board of a bond issue for 2020 Pump Station and Sewer Improvements; the above improvements are to be installed at District’ ‘s pumping stations and the sewer collection system, located on Middle Neck Road, Piccadilly Road, Strathmore Road, Redbrook Road, Spring Lane, Van Nostrand Avenue and Bayview Avenue, which Petition states that the maximum amount requested to be expended shall not exceed $30,000,000. All persons interested are invited to attend and will be heard.
A copy of the proposed Petition is on file at the office of the District and is open to inspection during regular business hours by any interested person.
